Students taking make-up exams due to health issues will be subject to medical reports in accordance with Article 1, “Make-Up Exams, Health-Related Excuses, and Reports,” of the University Senate’s decision No. 590/5470, dated September 22, 2022, “Procedures and Principles Regarding Justified and Valid Excuses.” This article states, “Approved sick leave reports obtained by students from university and Ministry of Health hospitals, public legal entity foundation university hospitals, and private healthcare institutions through their affiliated social security institutions are accepted by the Faculty Board of Directors after assessing whether they have been prepared in accordance with administrative procedures.” (Reports obtained from Family Medicine (Health Centers) are not valid.)
Students wishing to take make-up exams due to health issues must submit their approved medical reports to the Faculty of Science Dean’s Office, along with a petition prepared in accordance with the aforementioned procedures and principles.
