On April 17-18, 2026, the “Energy and Environmental Technologies Student Competition (EN²TECH 2026)” will be organized by Ostim Technical University Energy Technologies Application and Research Center (ETAUM) to encourage the development of innovative project ideas in the field of energy and environmental technologies, to increase the participation of university students in research and development activities in the field of sustainable technology, and to strengthen university-industry collaborations.

Our university’s Energy Technologies Application and Research Center (ETAUM) is organizing the “Energy and Environmental Technologies Student Competition (EN²TECH 2026)” to encourage the development of innovative project ideas in the field of energy and environmental technologies, to increase the participation of university students in research and development activities in the field of sustainable technology, and to strengthen university-industry collaborations. This competition is a national student competition open to associate and undergraduate students studying at universities throughout Turkey. Applications will be accepted online between February 20, 2026 and March 25, 2026, and students wishing to participate can submit their applications via the following link: https://etaum.ostimteknik.edu.tr/tr/en2tech. The competition process consists of preliminary rounds, an online bootcamp program, and a final hackathon to be held in Ankara on April 17-18, 2026. Projects developed within the scope of the competition will be evaluated by expert jury members according to the following criteria: clarity of problem definition, innovative approach, technical applicability, sustainability impact, economic feasibility, industrial integration, and presentation and technical explanation adequacy. Cash prizes will be awarded to the winning teams: 100,000 TL for first place, 75,000 TL for second place, and 50,000 TL for third place. In addition, honorable mention awards of 5,000 TL each will be given in the categories of Most Effective Presentation Award, Most Successful Team Leader Award, and Social Contribution Award.
