Medical reports for students taking make-up exams due to health problems will be reviewed in accordance with Article 1 of the University Senate’s decision dated 22.09.2022 and numbered 590/5470, titled “Procedures and Principles Regarding Justifiable and Valid Excuses,” specifically under the heading “Make-up Exams, Health-Related Excuses, Reports.” This article states: “Approved sick leave reports obtained by students from university and Ministry of Health hospitals, public foundation university hospitals, and private health institutions through their respective social security institutions will be accepted after evaluating whether they have been prepared according to administrative procedures by the Faculty Board.” (Reports from Family Physicians (Health Centers) are not valid).

Therefore, students wishing to take make-up exams due to health problems must submit their approved medical reports along with a petition prepared in accordance with the above-mentioned procedures and principles to our Dean’s Office.
